Pilots of the Coordinated Development of Green Buildings and Green Finance

In November 2021, with support from Energy Foundation China, Suzhou Institute of Building Science Group completed this report studying how to use green finance to promote green buildings in cities. Through pilots in Qingdao of Shandong Province and Huzhou of Zhejiang Province, the report summaries how the two cities address their buildings and urban planning problems through creative green finance solutions, before it proposes a four-component plan for future replication in other cities.
